    Ive been through the gauntlet of “doctors as gatekeepers” and I came out of it absolutely disturbed. My general practitioner doctor never confronted a medical marijuana case before. He seemed annoyed at me for even proposing such a thing for my health. During the visit with him It was clear he absolutely didn’t have a clue about marijuana. It was clear he was more worried about his clinic shutting down then the health of my body.
    When I went to see the specialist, she sneered at me. She made me feel like I was wasting her time as she hurried me out of the office. I had questions regarding my diabetes and nerves.. but I could not ask the questions because she pushed me out. All because a portion of my visit was for requesting medical marijuana. Now I have to continue to buy it through a dealer illegally.
    I truly hope the Canadian government realizes the truth about marijuana and its benifits.
    Doctors signing medical marijuana licenses is like a naturopath signing for synthetic prescriptions.
